Facing extended load shedding periods, sometimes lasting up to 36 hours, it became crucial to implement measures ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our security system. Thanks to the efforts of The Cycle of Life Charity, funds were raised to facilitate the installation of cutting-edge solar panels and lithium batteries at Phinda Main Gate. This initiative was designed to fortify the electric fence, optimize camera functionality, and enhance number plate recognition capabilities, effectively eliminating security breaches caused by prolonged electricity downtime.
