Thank You for Helping Us Protect Our Rhinos

We are happy to share a letter of thanks from African Wildlife Vets, following our support of the 2025 Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park Maintenance Dehorning Project.

“On behalf of African Wildlife Vets, I would like to extend our utmost gratitude for your generous support for the 2025 Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park Maintenance horn-trimming project.”
Kate Church, Founder & Managing Director, African Wildlife Vets

Thanks to the funds we raised, African Wildlife Vets have been able to purchase the necessary pharmaceuticals and consumables for this important operation, totalling R190,000. The first phase of the project begans on Monday, 14 July 2025, and will take place across three sessions during July, August, and September, with the aim of trimming the horns of approximately 400 rhinos.

Dehorning is a vital preventative measure in the fight against poaching, and we are proud to be part of this meaningful work.

“Thank you once again for your support. Together we can truly make a difference in the conservation of rhinos.”

We look forward to sharing updates and highlights as the project unfolds.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible — your support is making a real and lasting impact.
