René Lanfear, one of our trustees on the board of our charity and responsible for all financial matters of the Cycle of Life Charity Funds, visited the local school Velakukhanya Combined Primary School outside Bayala gate to meet and educate some learners about wildlife conservation.

These visits have proven to be very successful for the understanding of the young generation to educate them on our rhino cause. By teaching them about the importance of Rhinos on the game reserves and sharing information with them about their value in a big 5 habitat, we hope to nurture their compassion about wild animals, especially the endangered ones.

We designed a T-shirt which promoted dehorning of rhinos to protect them from poaching. The rhino t-Shirt has its slogan:

It’s ok to be a little different

Which should mean, that all rhinos are precious with or without their horn!!

These t-Shirts are also sold at Bayala Private Safari Lodges and give the rangers an opportunity to talk to local and international guests  to explain why we dehorn our rhinos on the Munyawana Reserve.

If you would like purchase a T-Shirt and #helpushelpourrhinos, please visit our shop here. The proceeds from the sale of all merchandise sold go to conservation
