We are thrilled to announce that The Cycle of Life EV has made an impactful contribution for a special collaboration with African Wildlife Vets to embark on a crucial rhino dehorning operation in Natal.
This incredible initiative aims to protect our rhinos from harm, preserving their existence for generations to come. Thanks to your support, we are making a real difference in safeguarding these magnificent creatures and their natural habitats.
Together, we stand strong in the fight against rhino poaching and ensure a brighter future for our wildlife and our children
This enormous operation started on Tuesday, here are some words from our man on the ground, our Ranger extrodinaire and trustee of our Charity Trust, JR:
” we didn’t gave any signal or electricity at the site and only got back early this morning, but can report a really worthwhile project for Cycle of Life. Quite hectic terrain there, had to cross mountains and lakes, plus deal with some really thick bush in some areas but the team took it in their stride. A real group of conservationists that side, holding up the fort with less resources and support. Great to see a group of woman leading part of the charge there, piloting the helicopter superbly, being the veterinary strikeforce, coordinating the project resources and you fine ladies supplying them with the wings to give them flight. This group of people are inspiring in the way they do their job fantastically, passionately and modestly, whilst maintaining the utmost degree of ethics. Really take my hat off to them and think Cycle of Life has supported a great project which will leave a positive impact on the rhino population in this KZN nature reserve for years to come. Well done on making a great difference ladies 👏🏿👍🏿👋🏿💚🦏”
