DAY 1 – CAPITAL PARK, PRETORIA
Your ‘Bucket List” journey begins. Board the luxury Rovos Rail at their private train station, Capital Park, Pretoria. Enjoy the specialty cuisine in the comfort of air-conditioned cars with breakfast, lunch and dinner being heralded by the traditional gong. Experience 5 star luxury on and off the train.
DAY 2 – GABORONE
The Capital of Botswana – Gaborone welcomes us as we disembark and split into two groups according to your riding strengths after breakfast. Route : The hills & rocky outcrops of Gaborone welcome the riders on a spectacular route as we leave the station and head into the reserve where we will hopefully see some game. The section of single track is fast flowing and punctuated with small climbs.
DAY 3 – MAKADIKADI PANS
Experience the stunning beauty, vastness, the isolation, the Makadikadi Pans. After 160km of private rail we will arrive at the pans. Once we disembark you will cycle towards the curvature of the earth. A highlight for everyone.

DAY 4 – MOTOBO HILLS
Motobo Hills are over 3 Billion years old and mankind has populated the area for over 400 Million years. The hills are a burial ground for Kings and hero’s where a multitude of forts and battlefield can be found. It has the largest concentration of rock art in the world. The resting place of Cecil John Rhodes, the founder of the territory Rhodesia, Now Zimbabwe.
Route ; a spectacular mix of granite rock and single track. We stop to awe at the views and visit various historical sites etched in the history

DAY 5 – ZIMBABWE
Arrive at the Victoria Falls Hotel. The land of the legendary African safari, breath-taking lakes, abundant wildlife and raw pulsating wilderness, welcome to the “Smoke that thunders”. After breakfast we disembark and cycle or walk across the bridge to view the spectacular falls on the Zambian side. Spend your last night at the infamous Victoria Falls Hotel
Route; Follows the edge of the river banks where elephants bath and the river disappears off the edge. We view rapid 16 and make our way to the Royal Livingstone for High Tea.
DAY 6: Say farewell to your fellow cyclists and hopefully we’ll see you on the next exciting voyage.
